The solid reputation of Maltexco is based on a policy of strict quality control of the whole production process, from the growing of the barley to the receipt of the finished product by the customer. In this way, the demanding technical specifications of the international foods and beer markets are met.

Following a rigorous selection of the barley grains received, the varieties certified by Maltexco are controlled in its laboratories during the soaking, germination and toasting stages. This rigorous control extends to each one of the manufacturing processes of our products, including the malted barley, the specialty malts, the malt extracts and the flours, as well as their despatch and shipment.

All our products have been manufactured under the controls established by a Quality Management System approved by Bureau Veritas Certification conforming to ISO 9001.
